My name is Anat Friedman Abaxis and I am the owner of the brand that bears my name "Anat Friedman".
I am 38 years old, married to Yitzchak and mother of Amalia (8), Beri (5) and Nov who joined our family this year.
I studied painting and drawing in Israel Hirschberg's studio school in Jerusalem. I also went to the jewelry and fashion department at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design also located in Jerusalem, which is where I met my husband Yitzhak. Both Yitzhak and I were born in Jerusalem and despite the political situation in this city we have decided to stay here and continue creating from here after graduation. I opened the store in the city center of Jerusalem, the first floor is where the shop is, and the studio is on the top floor. Women from across the country and from different religions visit my store and praise my products. Besides the store in Jerusalem, my collections are being sold across the country and online.
Anat Friedman Abecassis, the designer behind the brand "Anat Friedman," is a graduate of the Jewelry and Fashion Department at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. In 2011, after completing her studies, she opened her boutique and studio in Bezalel Pedestrian Street, among shops and cafés in a charming Jerusalem atmosphere.
Anat designs for women of all ages, with a strong emphasis on comfort. Her high-quality garments feature precise cuts suitable for both day and evening wear. With careful thought given to her customers and their needs, Anat creates collections made up of a variety of unique pieces meant to accompany women for years to come. Her designs are made in Israel with close attention to high quality and the finest materials. Quantities are kept small to ensure exclusivity for the women wearing the clothing and to maintain environmental sustainability.
Anat's journey into fashion comes from a deep connection to the world of painting, a relationship that continues to influence her creative process. Transitioning from painting the body to dressing it was a natural step for her. Her love for painting is evident in her playful use of color, form, and the graphic lines that characterize her designs. Additionally, each season she creates a limited number of designs with original prints that she paints in her studio and prints on fabrics using various techniques.
